How Mo's Place Radio Started
Mo's Place Radio did not start as a corporate format meeting. It started as DJ Mo's place.
The site puts it plainly: Mo's Place Radio is Boston's Best Radio, broadcasting from Dracut, Massachusetts, and serving listeners throughout the Merrimack Valley and beyond. DJ Mo created the station after more than 30 years in music and entertainment. That is the beginning we actually have on paper — not a launch-day myth, not a trophy case. A person who had already spent a working lifetime around music decided the next thing should sound like home.
